Following the recent fee hikes at Boston Logan International Airport, Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) remains the most affordable option for travelers in New England. Boston Logan has significantly increased parking and rideshare fees, with daily parking rates rising to $51 for garage parking and $42 for economy parking. In comparison, PVD offers much lower parking rates, with long-term parking starting at just $12 per day with a coupon. Logan’s economy rate is 177% of PVD’s rate. Not only is PVD cheaper for passengers, but PVD’s Garage A, Garage B, and Lot D are only 100 steps away from the TSA checkpoint, and there are no tunnels to overcome on the way to PVD ahead of travel.

Rideshare fees at Logan have also jumped to a combined $11 fee for a round trip. Rideshare fees at PVD are just $7 round trip, 57% lower than Logan’s new rates.

PVD offers a variety of parking options, including Lot E with shuttle service, Garage A, Garage B, and Lot D, all within walking distance of the terminal. The new Lot O offers affordable parking at $12 per day during peak periods, and travelers can reserve parking in advance for added convenience.

PVD now serves 38 nonstop destinations, including West Coast flights. With the increasing costs of air travel and airport services at Logan, passengers are encouraged to avoid the tunnels and the higher fees at Logan and pick the easier airport in Rhode Island for stress-free travel.
