The somewhat awkwardly named – Pawtucket School Committee Facilities Subcommittee-Other Projects – established to give oversight/insight into the Unified High School (As opposed to the Pawtucket School Committee School Department Facilities Committee- Unified High School)  to Mayor/School Committee Chair Don Grebien, as well as Members of the Pawtucket City Council, met Thursday evening, March 6.

Conspicuously absent? Mayor/School Committee Chair Don Grebien, as well as Members/Representation of the Pawtucket City Council.

Of note: Significant conversation was directed towards the McCoy Stadium demolition schedule, a groundbreaking ceremony … and most importantly, communications directed to “Notice of Pre Existing Conditions Survey-City of Pawtucket Unified High School Site” and, in what is bound to generate even more controversy … a Pawtucket High School Notice of Encroachment, as certain abutter’s are informed that their property “Encroaches” on “Public Property” necessary for the construction of the Unified High School.
